Tortoise gravitates to the corners of a room!

Click and drag me down to the editordoes anyone know why they do this?
I have a pic of my horsefield, Rufus.
Also, I can't say for sure, but could he be a she? the shell is flat..or is that a common occurance in jeuveniles?

To seek security, the head is protected, it's natural behaviour.

Can you send pics of it's 'home' ?
Could "he be a she" - well hardly, but IT could. How old is it & why do you say it's male ?

Re. the flat shell, it's impossible to comment from the photo.
