Can anyone help?
Posted: 22/08/2016 by Helen bonner

Hi , I'm not overly confident with computers and this is my first post on any forum.A few weeks ago I sent off my application form and photos to TPG - London road, Dover. I haven't heard a thing? I really appreciate this group is run by volunteers- should I just wait? I have a 60yr old tortoise called Guinevere, given to me at the end of summer last year, I'm looking at rehoming maybe two more hermanns tortoises.

Hopefully a volunteer may reply to this post and let me know if I'm a good candidate or that there are no tortoises for me at the moment.
Many thanks!
Helen

This is not part of the remit of The Forum.

Try writing again.

As stated on the TPG website 'in order to rehome a tortoise through the TPG, you will be required to register as a member' being a member as I followed this process one would think the forum a perfect place to ask for help.

Thank you Tom for your friendly reply, I will write again if I don't here within the next two weeks.

Ohhh!

I gave you the facts. I'm sorry you are upset that I didn't add any patronising over-friendly waffle.

There is a whole section which deals with Rehoming & you are aware of it. Patience is a virtue.

Good luck,
Tom

Hi tom,

I'm the impatient lady from last year 😄 , I know you said patience is a virtue but after our last contact I emailed TPG and didn't hear anything back. It's now well over 6 months . I still would like to get a friend for my female 60+ year old tortoise. Am sure you could explain how to go about it or at least point me in the right direction.
Thank you
Helen
