These tables come fully assembled except buyer would need to attach lamp holder using the two screws supplied. This is to allow buyer to place the lamp holder where ever they like. The whole table is made of 20mm thick solid pine, the house roof and base are made from 6mm MDF. The whole unit is then sealed with 3 coats of clear varnish to protect from moisture/water spillages unlike other tables on Ebay.
The tables are built to an extremely high standard, they are very strong, finished to a super smooth finish, glued and screwed with hidden screws. All in all these are beautifully made. Care an attention go into every table. All corners are rounded off so there are no sharp edges, all joints are rebated for strength.
The small table is perfect for juvenile tortoises whilst the large will be perfect for a tortoise of any age.
Sizes Are:
Small: 24" x 16" x 7" (Height to top of chimney: Approx 11")
Large: 36" x 24" x 7" (Height to top of chimney: Approx 11")
The hide can be accessed by removing the house roof and the internal dimensions of the hide are: 22.5" x 8.5" (large table) & 14.5" x 7" (small table).
The Door to the hide is: 4.5" high x 6" wide.
The lamp holder is 10" high x 8" wide on both tables.
Please Note: Bulb, Bath, Substrate and of course Penny the Tortoise are not included with the table.
These tables come assembled and do come with a "lamp arm" and a porcelain E27 Lamp holder, 2m cable & a 3A Fused Plug.
