Hi

Can anyone tell me if they know much about endive.I know it is a cultivated dandelion but how much different is it to the weed dandelion and would it be ok for a hatchling?

Thanks
Jane

The wee endive is fine for a hatchling as it is high in fibre, as is the salad head, endive.  I'm not sure of the calcium phosphorus ratio but it is full of vitamins so will be beneficial.

Hi my name is Jean and I have Just joined your group on the subject of endive,  yes you can give it to you torts but as it is full of vitamins I would be carefull of how much you give and I would most certainly not give it to babies and only give small amounts. I dont give it at all to my torts.  Its nice in your salad   jean
