2 Ibera/Dartford, Kent

We have been approached to rehome 2 (possibly males) 4yr old Iberas.  They are currently living in a viv and have a diet of veg and salad, both have some degree of pyramiding.  We are waiting for clearer plastron shots to determine the sex, which should hopefully be available soon.  They are currently living in Dartford, Kent and the current owners would like the tortoises collected from them and really wants the boys to have a loving, forever home together.  There does not appear to be any health issues as the owner says they are lively and very active.  Given the time of the year, these tortoises will need over-wintering so please bear that in mind when applying.

If you would like to offer these tortoises a new home, please contact us at rehoming@tortoise-protection-group.org.uk with the email subject line '2 Ibera/Dartford, Kent'.  The rehoming application form can be found in the Rehoming Section of this website, you will need to download it into your documents, complete it and attach it to your email.  Any problems, please let us know, and if you have already completed an application, please let us know when you apply.  Photos are available, and we hope to have them on the website shortly.

Please note: There is no fee charged for re-homing but we hope that
if you are successful in your application, you will consider a
donation to help towards the TPG's work. Please be assured that any
donation no matter how small will be spent working towards making a
lasting difference to tortoises. Not all tortoises that we have
rehomed in the past have required veterinary treatment, however
occasionally this has occured, therefore as a non profitable group we
rely on your generosity to help our cause.

Sadly, we have had no response for these two little chaps.......although not so little at 900 and 700 grammes <g>, they really do need a new home with a loving keeper.

I hope the new year will bring a new home and a vast improvement to their lives.
