Hibernation

Hi my tort has been in and out of its wood box that is in the greenhouse since I got her in June she wood go out side on its own but always go back to the box to sleep in the nite but for the last 3nites wants to stay in its little shelter out side she hasn't eaten for a while and is 9 years old and I was told if Hibernations every year I have her booked in for a vet check up this Tues or do I just follow how to hibernation thanks clive

They cease feeding at this time of year.

Do you keep weight records ? If not, now is the time to start, essential at hibe time.
