Desperste to find home for 2 yellow footed tortoises. The zoo needs to find a home as one has herpes. Cannot be kept at the zoo or passed to another zoo. They will be put to sleep this week if a home cannot be found on the reccomendation of the zoo vet. Many of us are trying to find a bome that will be able to accommodate these beautiful animals. They do not hibernate soneed to be kept at s temperture of 25 degrees at least for the cold months.They will obviously need to be isolated from other tortoises and need a home for life. They cannot be sold on. Thsnk you in advance to anyone who csnhelp or advise.
