rescued horsefield
Posted: 28/10/2014 by Daffy

Hi, I have just rescued a horse field today, he is apparently 18months roughly.  He has been left to roam around a house with 2 Rottweilers, never once been in a house with a light or anything!

I have taken him to a reptile specialist and he does seem to be fine.... Thankfully

What I am wanting to know is, now he has his own home (tortoise table) with a combined light, how long should I keep the light on as he really isn't usedto it

Thank you in advance for any help

Hello Daffy,

About 8 hours daily.

Click on "The Tortoise / Inc…" & download a Caresheet.

Regards,
Tom

Hi Tom

Thought it was that roughly but with him never being under didn't know whether to introduce slowly

Thanks so much for speedy reply
