Hello David,

This all depends on which species you keep & the age of the specimen(s). Let me know please & I'll try to answer.

Tom

Hi they are marginated   and 7 months old healthy eating and drinking well and bathing well

I suggest that you wind them down in December & hibe. them in Jan / Feb..

If you are confident that they have done very well, based on your weight records, you could extend to the end of March.

Extend the hibe. each year. By the age of 5, feeding (outside) steadily ceases towards the end of Sept.. Leave them outside to wind down & hibe. in late Oct..

Regards,
Tom

You are unusual (in a good way) as most novices dread it.

Go for Dec. / Jan. (plus Feb if you wish.)

How's that?
Tom
