Hi I am a new owner of a 10 yr old spurred thigh tortoise He is a very strong healthy and fast little fellow but has not eaten since I have brought him home 5 days ago Every day except today ( non stop rain) he has investigated every inch of the garden but seems more interested in escaping than any weeds or food I have tried him with eg rocket grated carrot peppers sweet corn watercress and mustard cress. He hasn't drunk yet from his dish but I think I see him swallow when he puts his head in his bath. I am concerned even when I have read it could take time for him to adjust  Any advice would be gratefully receivedreceived
