I believe that tortoises have a relatively good sense of hearing, but I'm afraid I can't vouch for Ed's taste in music {g}.

Thanks. He seems to like drum and bass, when its on he starts moving to the beat....compared to classical music, he simply falls asleep!

LOL -- I suppose he could be responding to the vibrations from the bass. I fall asleep to classical music too -- how is he with country and western . What species is Ed?

Hi Antonio, Their hearing is good far better than their eyesight in most species (leopards have really good eyesight). Just make sure if he is head bobbing it is not a sign of stress. The head bobbing in this case COULD be the outward sign of rapid breathing caused by stress. If that loud you arent doing your own ears any good neither Click and drag me down to the editor . What species is ED? How close are the speaker to Eds' setup?

I was joking about moving to the beat haha, he does not seem to mind any music, i try to keep it to a minimum!
He is a 2 year old Herman. The speakers are a good 3 meters away, but i dont turn them up very loud at all...he is my main priority!

Thanks,
Antonio
