normal behavior or not?
Posted: 03/07/2013 by strongbow1

My hermans is approx' 15yrs old,I think it is female? Recently a "tubelike" appendage appears from it's rear, next to the tail, after a few minutes it retracts again, what is it and is this normal?

Hello,
Sounds like a 'penis', in which it's male, if so it's normal. Can you post a pic of the tail area please ?

Tom

Hello,
Regret the delay. Can you post a pic or two of the 'scute' above the tail please, showing the shape of it.

Tom
