Hi all! I have discovered I am a useless vegetable garden so am considering converting my veg patch into a tortoise enclosure next year (once my few crops are used!). I am teaming with questions so was hoping someone could recommend a book I can use to swat up to limit the number of questions I ask you guys!

"Keeping a Pet Tortoise" by A & N Highfield. ISBN 978-1-84286-213-1. Cheap & basic, but accurate. HOWEVER click on the boxes on the left & sub-headings & find a gold mine of info. Only consider Hermann's, Spur- thighed or Marginata 'breeds' & only buy from a BREEDER, or things can end in tears.
