Awake - possibly ill
Posted: 07/02/2013 by mrs f

Hi guys,

woke Mrs Brown up yesteray after about 10 weeks hibernating in fridge, she seems ok, is moving about under her light and looks well,  she hasnt eaten yet, but did what looked like a runny poo within an hour or so being woken up, it wasnt white like urates, i have bathed her last night and again this morning, but having this runny poo when she hasnt eaten for such a long time, is it something i should be worried about.

As always all answers received with thanks.

Hi Debs

Was it mustardy yellow? if it was then this was the urates but implies that she is a bit dehydrated, I would give a couple of baths a day until I saw nice white urates.
Well done 10 wks is a good hibernation, is this her first one? Try tempting her initially with some naughty food, a bit of cucumber and Florette, this can be found at a super Market in bags, just make sure you wash it thoroughly. She may have already eaten by now so ignore this part
