I have been using pellets since getting my Hermann last week. I do want to change to soil and sand mixture but I am concerned that it may be damp which I have been damp conditions are not good for Hermans? Can anyone advise?

It's what they would have in the wild, so perfect. Because indoor habitats tend to be too drying, you will need to water it to keep it damp below soil level for them.
