We live in Dubai and have recently rehomed two tortoise from our vet - who had been asked to find new homes by a family that was leaving Dubai.

we currently have them running around freely in a 3 x 1 metree room decorated with some grasses and plants (none toxic) and we occasionally put them outside on the grass in the morning - but we are scared that if these are meditereanean tortoise then it may be too hot for them to be ouside for any length of time here.

Ideally we would like to build them a proper habitat suitable for the type of tortoise they are.

Can anyone help us identify them?
