Missing Hermanns tortoise Surrey
Posted: 30/05/2012 by michelle 147

Our beloved tortoise Izzy strayed from our garden on 24/05/12. She is a female (we think!) Hermanns tortoise approx 5.5 - 6 " across. I have lots of photos that can identify her. We are in Great Bookham/Fetcham border in Surrey. Many many thanks. Michelle

Sad news Michelle, but do not despair.

I would type out a flier, with only a phone number, and get a friend or family member to leaflet the area. Do not give away too much info about your identity/location,. Sounds a bit cloak and dagger, but I am afraid we torty keepers are easy targets for theft.

Of course I wish you all the best. Remember, most people are honest and would want to help.

Regards, David nr York.

Hi Michelle

Where did you buy your tortoise? I found one this week in Farnham and it's microchipped to the shop that sold it. Jo x
