habba hut
Posted: 03/05/2012 by hatsandwich@gmail.com

Hello,
I have just purchased a habba hut for Bailey my 2 year old hermans tortiose. I have heard that its a good idea to put some sort of reptile freindly sealant onto it, I just wondered if this is recommended. it or just leave it as it is? Also I am going to put something down on the tortiose table under the soil to protect the wood from getting damp, any ides please?
I'm really grateful for this group, it means that I can get great advice and this helps to make my litte tort happy and healthy :) Thankyou

Hi
I just used a thin run of aquarium silicone round the edges and then have used some pond liner to prevent moisture getting thru from the damp soil
