Posted: 29/04/2012 by TPGDarren

Sammy is a North African Spur-Thighed Tortoises Testudo Graeca Graeca) and has
lived with her current keepers for 44 years. She is believed to be female (yet
to be confirmed).

Sammy (Samantha) weighs 2.1 kgs and her current keeper has reported that she has
not had any health issues. Her current keepers are finding it difficult to give
her the attention she once had and are looking to find her a new forever home.

Darren

Hi - we are in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and have a male 35-40 year old Testudo Greco who is lonely. He has been in our family all that time and has now moved to live with us now that my mum is older. I would very much like to find him a companion since he is attracted to any tortoise shaped objects he can find so is clearly "looking" for a friend (shoes, rocks etc...). If the advertised tortoise is still looking for a new home, please contact us. He/she would be very welcome.
