Bubbly nose

Hi
I've heard of r n s but was wondering would it be runny all the time ?
Buddy's nose has been bubbly only when she's eating tho ?
Going to get her checked tomorrow but was just a bit worried
Any other ideas ?
Thanks Carl

Lots of dandelions and grass the last few days as the new runs are done
I've split her up from the others like you said and she's been a bit down but thought it might have been that she was missing the others.!
She hadn't had a bath but I've only noticed It while she's been eating
Thanks Carl

Hi Carl
I think you need to keep an close eye on her and record when the bubbles appear, for precautions I would make sure she is kept warm and not out in the cold. On sayting that, what doesn't sit right, is that you say she has been abit down? that would make me want to take her to the vet to get checked out. The reason I was asking about the food,  for example, if you are like me, I keep my dandy heads in water in the fridge, they would be full of water and that could come back up the nasal passages, or sometimes when you give them a bath the water can regurgitate.
Let us know how it goes

Hi Jane

thanks for the info,

i just noticed that shes not been moving around as much as she usually follows the leopards around all day , now shes on her own shes just a bit calmer a bit more often, she still comes flying out for her food tho !

didnt notice anything today with her so il keep my eye on her but if it was r.n.s wouldnt it be all the time ??

thanks  Carl

Hi Carl
By what you are saying she sounds Ok, so that is good news. RNS is can be hard to detect when it is first starting out and Leopards are highly prone to it, so something to be aware of, especially as she has been with leopards.  Best just keeping an eye on her and see how she goes, if she goes off her food or lethargic then I would get her to vet.

That made me chuckle!!
She may have had something lodged in the nares and has sneezed it out, this can be quite common. Fingers crossed there are no more bubbles
