Please help I have had Sid now for 6 months and he is in a tortoise table with heat lamp and uv light. Lately he has been constantly sitting under the heat lamp and I'm worried he is getting too hot and won't move. Also the uv light I have keeps blowing, iv heard on the forum people mentioning a combined light would this be more suitable? Many thanks helena

What are the temps under the lamp? combined lights are much easier to use, Solar Glo, Powersun, Megeray are just a few makes. I have the same problem with my two, they love the heat so I put my combined lights on a timer, times depending on the weather. Most mornings I put them on from 6am -11am as morning even in the summertime can be a bit cold, but take each day from the weather reports.
