Hi,i've got a Mega ray 160 w bulb,which is now set at the minimum distance of 18",from bulb to top of the tortoise.Will my tortoise be ok because for the first week of getting her the distance was 12".My tortoise is a baby hermanns.......

You should be Ok, your tort would move away from the heat if it was getting too hot. What sort of set-up have you got her in?
