Hello there , please do not panic. Take time to read widely, the only things to avoid IMHO in the short term are poisoning and cross infection. Do take time to read widely...this site is as good as anything out there. Remember that in the short term, in the wild torts get cold, dry, over heated, drenched, and short of food...yet they have survived for millions of years. They can tolerate (not necessarily enjoy) adverse conditions and recover and thrive!

Do not be afraid to ask even the simplest of questions...we all started with low info levels, yet coped. Please enjoy being a tort owner...it should be of benefit to you as carer, and tort as recipient. Keep us posted via this forum, those who can help will, those who can't will learn from your queries and our answers.

Best wishes and good luck, David in York
