hi there i need some info on the man who just yesterday 28-08-10 sold me a spur thighed tortoise which is about 1 1/2 years old i should have done a background check on his shop before i purchased from him looking at the information i have gathered this morning why is he in trouble what is that he is doing wrong . i went down to pick up my tort as i didnt want it in the post and picked the on i wanted his premisis was ok and i was told he bred them himself and had the breading pair there which i seen is my tort ok has he done something wrong by selling it to me i have the certificate with it . i would be gratefull for any info thank you . darren german co durham.

Damn I just left him  a message asking about Horsefields- his website is still online, guess I won't be going to see his torts. Does anyone know any reputable breeders in the Northeast of  England? I have emailed a couple of breeders in Yorkshire but have heard no reply. I really want to do things properly, my wife and I have spent quite a bit of time and money researching and preparing for our first pet tortoise.
