new arrivals

Hi Guys,

Just thought I'd share some pics of my new arrivals. Two female (hopfully) Horsfields called Danni & Didi. Their table has only just been built as I wasn't expecting to pick them up so soon so is no where near finished and they've only been in it overnight but I'm glad I decided to keep that old single bed, it's made a great tort enclosure.

Hi, your new torts look great. I would never have thought about using a bed that way - what an excellent idea. Hope the torts settle in really well with you. Janice.

I thought little Didi had stashed some rock climbing gear under the substrate and then used it to escape as when I went up to turn off their lamp she was no where to be seen PANIC!!!. Looks like I'll have to get used to having such a small tort very quickly, as there she was in the corner, dug in with just a bit of the top of her shell showing, phew!

Hello All,  Just to let you know that an old table top turned upside down with the sides built up a little also makes an excellant torti table.  That's what I use for Toto's spare run when I feel that he needs a change of scenery.  Works well for us !    It gives him lots of room as it was a big table. !!  Loads of room for rocks, hideaways, and things to climb over..love from Marilyn. xx
