Our tortoise was attacked by a dog at the weekend. She has a hole in the top of her shell and some other small surface damage. We took her to the local vet who has given us antibiotics & painkillers. We are dressing the wound with gauze soaked in dil hibiscrub 48hrly. He has suggested we see a Specialist vet in Andover. We are in Dorset, this would be over hour long journey.  I have looked for specialist vet locally and there is one recommended on this site. What shall I do?
